Growers are rethinking on herbicide technology performance because despite the known inherent yield penalty associated with the triazine tolerance plant mechanism, some of the new TT canola hybrids are yielding just as well and in some cases even better than other technologies available on the Australian market due to improved breeding and genetics.
Hyola® 650TT is a mid-late maturing Triazine Tolerant hybrid that has been developed using complex genetics involving Hybridising Thumper TT with a longer maturing higher yield potential, such that it shows great adaptability to growing regions where growers can achieve canola yields between 2t/ha to 4.0t/ha.
Hyola® 650TT has an excellent blackleg rating of "R" with Tri-Gene resistance groups A,B,D, along with very good standability and is known to provide growers with great top-end yields.
Hyola® 650TT is now priced at a point similar to the total investment in $/ha to purchasing OP TT varieties that are under an EPR. So now canola growers can use this value pricing opportunity to capture all the extra financial and agronomic value a TT hybrid has to offer over purchasing OP variety.
